Berlin Wall Video Travel Guide - is released on the 50th Anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall and offers an audiovisual historic guide for anyone who is interested in the history of the divided Germany and the Berlin Wall.

In several film documentaries we present original recordings of historic places that are related to the construction of the Wall and the life in the divided city. We take you to the original settings of the recordings - from the erection of the Berlin Wall in August 1961 until its fall 28 years later.

From the perspective of the film cameras that documented the dramatic events between 1961 and 1989, you can take a look at the original sites and witness how the city has changed since the reunification of the divided Germany.

All documented sites are accompanied by introductory texts that are also available in form of an audio guide upon request. By contrasting historical and contemporary recordings from an identical camera perspective, our ‘flashbacks’ offer surprising cinematic impressions of change at prominent places along the former Berlin Wall.
